ACTION ITEM. The Council of Faculties is initiating a program in which the officers of COF and ASCC meet with the Walmart Scholars and their sponsors. This inaugural meeting will take place on Sunday, July 15 at 6:30. The planned event will be primarily an informal gathering of the participants to allow conversations between the students and the leadership of the Council of Faculties. This event is designed to help the students understand why faculty chose academic careers and what benefits these faculty have received from their career choice.
